Apple chief executive Tim Cook who publicly announced he is 'proud to be gay' through an essay written for Bloomberg Businessweek, had critised the LGBT equality in his home state Alabama on October 27, 2014. "Too slow on equality for African-Americans, too slow on interracial marriage. And still too slow on equality for the LGBT community", the CEO added.
