Asia-Pacific ministers denounce Taliban

Terrorism took centre-stage at a meeting of Asia-Pacific foreign ministers on Wednesday, as the group denounced the abduction of South Koreans in Afghanistan. Earlier, the Philippines Foreign Secretary, Alberto Romulo, said the crisis should be quickly resolved, and all 21 hostages should be returned to their families as soon as possible. Taliban kidnapped 23 South Korean church volunteers south of Kabul last month, and have executed two of them.
