The UN Security Council has voted in favour of new sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programme on March 3. The sanctions include freezing the foreign assets of 13 Iranian companies and travel bans on five Iranian officials. It also includes ban on the sale of dual use items, which either have military or civilian purpose, to Iran.
