Modi in US: PM gets stolen artefacts back, visits Arlington cemetery

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a three-day visit to the United States. On Day 1, arrived at the Joint Base Andrews military airport in United States of America's Washington D.C on Monday. Soon after, he paid his tributes to America's greatest heroes at the Tomb of Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. The Prime Minister also laid a wreath at Space Shuttle Columbia Memorial in the presence of American astronaut Sunita Williams. He went on receive more than 200 stolen cultural objects that are being returned to India, including a bronze Ganesh and a Jain figure of Bahubali. He also met representatives of several prominent US think-tanks to understand how they look at global trends and challenges and what India and the US can do together for the world.
