'Mush quitting early could be destabilising'

Amidst speculations of Musharraf quitting office early, Washington feels that it could be a destabilizing move for Pakistan. Daniel Markey, the South Asia Expert at US-based Council for Foreign Relations, said in New Delhi that that Washington feared that Musharraf leaving early could spark instability in Pakistan. Earlier on Saturday, Musharraf made it clear that he has no immediate plan to resign or go into exile.
