The body of Singapore's founding father Lee Kuan Yew, who died on Monday, arrived at the country's Parliament House on Wednesday morning for public viewing. Large crowds gathered at the side of the road to catch a glimpse of the funeral cortege as Lee's coffin travelled through the streets of the Southeast Asian city-state. President Tony Tan and his wife paid their respects before the public began to be admitted, many of whom were tearful. Lee, the first prime minister of Singapore, died on Monday aged 91.
