Veiled and guarded

At first glance everything looks usual at the Rongpo Monastery in the Everest base camp. But this highest monastery in the world is under surveillance of the Chinese military, which awaits the departure of the Olympic torch to the peak of the world's tallest mountain amidst an unusual mixture of fanfare and secrecy. The monks at the monastery however affirmed that they had no intentions to cause any trouble.
