A giant high-heeled shoe-shaped building is gaining a lot of attention at Budai in Taiwan. This 17metre high building is actually a church and is expected to open in February this year. The region experienced Blackfoot disease in the past due to arsenic in water and many women had to be amputated and they could never walk down the altar. Section manager, Talia Pan says she wanted to turn this sad part of history into something positive, giving lovers the opportunity to experience romance.
