Watch | Thousands tie the knot in South Korea mass wedding

About 3,000 couples from 62 countries tied the knot at a mass wedding in South Korea. The ceremony is conducted by the Unification Church. Its founder died four years ago and his widow has taken over officiating duties. Some couples are renewing their vows while others are newlyweds. Mass weddings by the Unification Church started in the 1960s. The organisation has attracted controversy over the years, and some critics have called it a cult.
