- Martin County Sheriff's Office - Drew Robinson, Sheriff said in a Facebook post that “there are several victims.”
- Robinson added that “the suspect has been identified and is in custody at this time.”
- Robinson further said that there does not appear to be any ongoing threat to the public at present. “Due to the suspect being in custody and information that we have received thus far, we do not believe that there is any ongoing threat to the public,” the post reads.
- Everyone has been urged to “avoid the area of Paradise Lane and Fire Department Road, as there will be a large law enforcement presence.”
