Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had urged all the ministers of his government to remain present during the yoga session, which aims to enable them to perform yoga on June 21, the International Day of Yoga.

Chouhan had given the responsibility of coordinating with the missing ministers to the minister of state for school education Deepak Joshi.

Joshi had been asked to make sure that the missing ministers turned up for the second day of the yoga session.

Not even one of the three women ministers were present during the yoga training session.

Women and child development minister Maya Singh said all the ministers had been invited to the session by the CM.

"I was in my constituency and came late, but I would definitely attend the session on Tuesday," she said.

The ministers who had turned up for the session practiced the yoga exercises that would be performed on June 21.

After a warming up exercise, the ministers performed 15 asanas, three pranayams and a three minute meditation.
