Aamir Khan criticised for ‘waiter’ comment, trolled on Twitter
While talking about stardom, actor Aamir Khan said that when Salman Khan enters a room, it seems like a star has come, but when he enters a room, it feels like a waiter has entered.
Actors and analogies don’t seem to be working well together. After Salman Khan, now actor Aamir Khan has come under fire for a comment in which he compared himself to a waiter. And this, after he was praised for calling Sallu’s rape analogy “unfortunate and insensitive” at a promotional event for his upcoming film on Monday.

Aamir was asked about releasing the poster of his film before Salman’s next, to which he said, “I always feel when Salman enters a room, you feel a star has come. When I enter, I feel a waiter has come.”
However, he immediately apologised. “Sorry, I shouldn’t have said that as waiters are great people. I feel when I walk into (a room), I feel it’s nobody as I enter silently. When Salman, Shah Rukh enter you feel (a) star has entered. I don’t have that quality. They are bigger stars than me,” Aamir added.
But his apology didn’t do much damage control and he was trolled on Twitter. Sample these:
