While most asked her about what she likes to eat or her favourite books, someone also asked her about her plans after marriage. “Will you give up acting after your marriage? Hope not,” asked a fan. Alia replied, “There is no need to give up anything but your status. I shall act and act as long as I can.” That should surely bring a big relief to her fans. Alia is in a relationship with Bollywood star, Ranbir Kapoor who confirmed their relationship GQ magazine in May.

“It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit,” Ranbir had said. However, Alia has still not spoken publically about their relationship but has accepted in an interview that she had a crush on him.

In her Q&A, she said her favourite book was When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi, she is a fan of home cooked food, loved watching Sacred Games on Netflix, is obsessed with moisturisation and can’t wait for people to watch Ranveer Singh in Gully Boy.

Ranbir and Alia will soon be seen together in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. Alia recently returned from Bulgaria where she was shooting for the film with Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna.

She recently posted a few pictures of herself, clicked by Ranbir, on Instagram. The couple is often spotted together -- at Mukesh Ambani son’s engagement last month, Alia and Ranbir were photographed together. Alia hosted an intimate party at home where Ranbir and her dad were present.

Alia has two more big projects lined up— Kalank with Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan and more and Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh. Ranbir will be seen as dacoit in Samshera and has also signed a film with director Luv Ranjan.
