Bollywood’s cup runneth over with songs about mindless boozing and partying, but here’s another to add to the list anyway. Chote Chote Peg, the third new song from Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, harps on the same cord once again: wearing lehengas, reusing an old hit and drinking like there is no tomorrow.

The song, from Luv Ranjan’s upcoming film, feature leads Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh dancing to Yo Yo Honey Singh’s rap and Neha Kakkar and Navraj Hans’ voices. It samples Navraj’s father, Hans Raj Hans’ hit song from 2000 film Bichhoo, Tote Tote Ho Gaya.

Chote Chote Peg begins with Nushrat vogueing, fully clothed, in a bathtub, singing about being a ‘bad girl’ who likes whisky. Of course, the boys think it is their responsibility to keep her away from the booze or at least convince her to make smaller pegs.

The three then dance together and quite expertly for someone who has downed ‘half a dozen’ bottles of alcohol. In a separate scene we see Nushrat and Karthik get cosy and kinky, spilling good alcohol on each other’s bodies. It’s weird because she is supposed to be his friend’s fiance in the film.

The film is about Karthik warning his friend, played by Sunny, against falling in love with Nushrat because she seems too good to be true. It releases on February 9.
