I have never been insecure, I am a star: Kareena Kapoor

Even though Kareena Kapoor Khan has not signed any new projects, the Bollywood actor says she is “feeling on top of the world”.

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s last release, Ki & Ka, did well at the box office. Now, the actor is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor. However, Kareena, who is currently holidaying in London, has not signed any new projects. But she’s not stressed.

Kareena Kapoor Khan says,“I’m feeling on top of the world. I don’t know what I’m going to do next. It is an amazing feeling.” (Yogen Shah)

“I’m feeling on top of the world. I don’t know what I’m going to do next. It is an amazing feeling. It is so dated to say, ‘Oh, I have so many films’. I have no interest in doing numerous films in a year. I will just pick one or two, and that’s it. I have a life. I also want to do other things [besides acting],” says Kareena.

She adds that as far as her work is concerned, she is not worried about losing visibility. “I have never been insecure, as a person, or as an actor. People don’t know me, so they shouldn’t judge me,” says Kareena, adding that even though her contemporaries are turning producers, and are also exploring Hollywood, she is happy with what she is doing here. “I am ambitious, but I am not overambitious. I have always said that I will be a star, I will be a mother, I will be a wife, and I will keep on acting,” says Kareena.
