Earlier reports claimed that Deepika Padukone was engaged with Ranveer Singh and planned to marry soon.

For all those waiting for an ‘official’ announcement from the much-in-love couple, here is a dampener, straight from the horse’s mouth, so to say: “I’m not pregnant, I’m not having a baby, I’m not engaged and I’m not married,” Deepika said at the ongoing India Couture Week 2016 in Delhi on Wednesday, according to a News18 report.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have entertained fans with their sparkling chemistry in Ramleela - Goliyo Ki Rasleela and Bajirao Mastani. The duo will be back together with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, Padmavati.

A Mumbai Mirror report had claimed earlier this month that Deepika and Ranveer got engaged a few months back in the presence of their parents. The same report also suggested that the couple is not likely to marry soon, since Deepika doesn’t want to tie the knot for the next two years.
