Jackie Chan wants to eat makki di roti when he visits India, says Sonu Sood

Sonu Sood talks about doing bhangra with Jackie Chan.

Last month, a video of Sonu Sood dancing with Jackie Chan in Shanghai, China, made its way to the Internet. The camaraderie the two shared was evident in the clip. “You’ll see more bhangra when he comes to India to promote the film,” says Sonu.

He adds that the international star helped him a lot when they were shooting in Shanghai. He says, “Chan knew I was a vegetarian, so he would get the best dishes arranged for me. The deal is that when he comes to India in November or December, we will ensure he gets to eat the best dishes available in India. So, he will definitely eat makke di roti and sarso da saag when he’s here.”

The Bollywood actor adds that Chan has seen a few Indian films and he loves dancing to Hindi songs. “I have put some [Hindi] music on his computer. He wanted to dance to a Hindi song, so we made sure we had one in the film. You will see him dancing in Bollywood-style costumes,” says Sonu.
