Almost 35 years after they worked together in Sadma, Tamil star Kamal Haasan and Bollywood actor Sridevi were happy to be reunited at HT India’s Most Stylish Awards 2018.
Tamil star Kamal Haasan and Bollywood actor Sridevi were in for a Sadma reunion at HT India’s Most Stylish Awards 2018 Wednesday night when the duo met on the red carpet. They worked together 35 years ago in the Balu Mahendra film.

Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra , Shahid Kapoor, along with his wife Mira Rajput, Sidharth Malhotra, Hina Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, Sonakshi Sinha, among several other Bollywood stars attended the grand event held in Mumbai.

Kamal Haasan also accepted the Hall of Fame award from her. Haasan said, “I am happy to receive the award from Sridevi, it was a big nostalgia trip.” Kamal received a National film award for his performance in the original version of Sadma, Moondram Pirai. The Tamil film, too, was directed by Balu Mahendra and starred Sridevi in the lead role.

The awards night honoured the best and most stylish actors, business honchos, sports stars, politicians for making their respective fields more fashionable. While Deepika won the India’s Most Stylish (female) award, Shahid was announced the India’s Most Stylish (Male). Sonam took home the Global Style Icon Award. Rekha received the Hall of Fame (female) award while Kamal Haasan bagged the award in male category.
Akshay Kumar bagged the Jeep Style Badge of Honour. Sonakshi Sinha and Ayushmann Khuranna received the Breaking the Mould Awards. Aishwarya Rai got the Timeless Style Diva (female) award while Sanjay Dutt bagged the Style Legend (Male) award while Amitabh Bachchan got the Superstar of Style award.
Farhan Akhtar received the HT Reader’s Choice Style Icon.
