Film stars’ personal lives often remain a mystery for all those who see them only on the big screen. It’s even rarer for the personal life of an actor to be showcased in a film. But HT Café has now found out that when the story of a new brand’s ad film was being developed, its team decided to borrow inspiration from Deepika Padukone’s real life. “During the meetings that the makers had with Deepika and her team over the past few months, they noticed the bond the actor shares with her team — be it asking her designer to make an outfit for her manager for a big event, pushing a team member to go on a break, or planning a holiday for her team members,” says an insider.

The Bollywood star even thanked her team for being there when she was depressed. “She has never shied away from giving credit to her stylist for her fashionable appearances. Deepika always takes cognizance of the efforts that her team puts in,” adds the insider.

When the brand team saw this side of the actor that not many are aware of, and how she shares her success with those who help her, they decided to use this as inspiration for the advertisement.

When contacted, Deepika says, “I am and will always be thankful to my team. I am who I am because of them. They are family and I am thrilled that my relationship with them has found its way to the storyline of my brand.”
