Naam Shabana trailer 2: Watch Taapsee Pannu become a daredevil agent

Like the previous trailer, this one also shows Anupam Kher and Akshay Kumar as Shabana’s important colleagues.

A lot is at stake for Taapsee Pannu this year. Two of her films, Runningshaadi.com and The Ghazi Attack, have already released, and three more are scheduled to hit theatres in the coming weeks. Among them, Naam Shabana seems to be the most important for her career graph.

Naam Shabana is a spin-off of 2014 film Baby.

There are two reasons for it. First, it’s a set franchise and some big names like Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee and Neeraj Pandey are associated with it. Second, it’s completely focussed on Taapsee character and she is expected to carry forward her good run that started with Pink.

The new trailer of Naam Shabana, released on Friday, shows how an ordinary girl was picked by Manoj Bajpayee, a senior Indian agent, to lead covert operations.

It also brings out the delicacy of relationship between Shabana and her mother.

Directed by Shivam Nair, Naam Shabana will be released on March 31, 2017.
