Katrina Kaif is dishevelled in Zero first look but Shah Rukh Khan loves her look. See pics
On Katrina Kaif’s birthday, Shah Rukh Khan shared her first look from Zero. The striking photo has found its admirers but SRK’s comments truly stand out.
As Katrina Kaif turned 35 on Monday, she received a special birthday gift from Shah Rukh Khan -- her Zero first look. While Katrina has been sharing photos from Zero in which she is reportedly playing an actor, this is the first time that we have actually got a good look at her character.
In the Zero poster, we see a dishevelled Katrina with bleeding make-up and a lost look on her face. She is a face in the crowd but still stands out. Shah Rukh wrote on Twitter, “There are so many lovely pictures of her, but this one speaks to me beyond my friends beauty....hope u all also give it love.”
Shah Rukh also had a message to go with Katrina’s poster, he wrote, “We know she is beautiful. We know she has set our hearts fluttering. She has loved like she has never been hurt. She dances like nobody’s watching her. She has lived like it’s heaven on earth. But all us actors wait for the moment when we can sink our teeth into a character deeper than beauty and its trappings. Here’s my friend on her birthday braving to enthrall us in a new avatar. You may ask ‘why so serious..?’ Hmmm... Aapka pata nahi, mujhe toh gusse mein yeh aur bhi haseen lagti hai. Happy birthday my brave and beautiful Katrina... Love, Shah Rukh.”
Before posting the pic, Shah Rukh wrote, “It’s Katrina Kaif’s Birthday and we all at #Zero miss her!!! Maybe I should put a picture of her from the film and send out a loud Happy Birthday wherever she is??!!”
Katrina is currently in London to celebrate her birthday with family.
Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics for her acting prowess, Katrina has established herself in Bollywood and is one of India’s highest-paid actors. Talking about the film, director Aanand L Rai had said earlier, “I wanted to celebrate Zero, I wanted to celebrate the incompleteness in people. There is nothing great in being a complete person. There is a beauty to incompleteness. We all are humans and ‘Zero’ comes from there.”
Katrina Kaif’s Zero first look got applause from Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, among others. Sonam wrote on social media, “Wow! Loving the intense avatar Katrina. So excited for the big reveal this December. Have a great one today, Happy Birthday.”
On the work front, Katrina will next be seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. The film also features Anushka Sharma in an important role. It will hit the screens on December 21, 2018. She is also a part of Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan.
