The 2:23-minute video starts with two strangers, played by Irrfan Khan and Parvathy, meeting each other. Irrfan is a jovial guy who is liked by even his ex girlfriends. He is loud, likes to crack jokes and has a rustic charm.

On the other hand, Parvathy seems to be a mostly quiet person who loves nature. Together, they set out on a journey to different parts of India in which they are likely to discover each other’s real shelf.

The trailer has a positive vibe to it and both the lead look in good form. Qarib Qarib Singlle appears the perfect film to succeed Hindi medium for Irrfan.

Director Tanuja Chandra is making a comeback to Bollywood. Her last release, Hope And A Little Sugar, released in 2006.

“Qarib Qarib Singlle is a contemporary love story of two people who embark upon an unusual journey which becomes a mad adventure. I’ve made plenty violent thrillers - now onto to something that’s slice of life and fun!” said Chandra in an earlier interview.

A Jar Pictures production, the movie has been shot across real locations of Bikaner, Rishikesh and Gangtok.

Qarib Qarib Singlle will hit the screens on November 10, 2017.
