Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor bonded over long walks and selfies while shooting for their film, Brahmastra.

Brahmastra shooting is back in full flow and the film’s lead cast -- Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan -- sure know how to mix all the work with some fun. A few fanpages on Instagram are sharing pictures of Brahmastra crew enjoying lunch together.

If it was Alia who recently shared a photo with her crew and Ranbir in the frame, it was now the turn of Amitabh and Ranbir to enjoy a day out in New York.

And the two did what was expected -- click selfies. Sharing photos with Ranbir, Amitabh wrote, “T 2874 - Out on a walk on the streets of NYC with THE Ranbir Kapoor .. selfies and all ..” However, while Ayan Mukerji and the film’s cast is in Bulgaria, Amitabh and Ranbir were walking the streets in New York.

A day before, Amitabh had shared a photo from Bulgaria. “T 2873 - Out in the sun after decades ! Does not happen in the sunniest of places .. but happens here ..Bulgaria.” Alia and Ranbir, who were shooting in Bulgaria, were joined by Nagarjuna and Amitabh recently. The film’s cast has been sharing constant updates from the European country.

In a blog, the veteran actor had written from Brahmastra sets, “Filmmaking from my times has undergone substantial change. Hundreds of unit and crew work assiduously on projects these days, every little detail of the making and production is looked at with such a degree of importance and a liberty it astonishes me. I feel guilty at times at what is on offer from the unit at times.”

“There were times in the past when prominence was shown in much the same manner. Well not to the extent it is nowadays, and I felt maybe it was justifiable. But now with diminished presence, I feel it not right. I try hard to skip past it but it catches up .. as does most things in life,” he added.

Earlier, Ayan had shared an insight into Brahmastra, “The reason it’s called Brahmastra is because the energies, wisdom, powers in the film come from ancient India. That’s all I would say. There are some costumes, may be not the way you’d expect them to be.”
