However, when they were contemporaries, Raveena admits they never spoke much, despite doing three or four films together. She says, “Those were competitive times.” Then, there were also reports that said the two had gotten into a fight on the sets of Andaz Apna Apna. The reason, Raveena and Ajay Devgn, Karisma’s then boyfriend, had a public fall out. She was dropped from his subsequent films.

But thanks to their children, Karisma’s Samaira (7) and Kiaan Raj Kapoor (2) and Raveena’s Rasha (7) and Ranbirvardhan (5), the actors have put their past behind and started bonding. Raveena says, “Since our girls go to the same school, we end up bumping into each other and have bonded well. It’s easier to hang out and discuss our kids.”

She reminisces about their time while working together, and says, “I have known Lolo (Karisma) to be a go-getter. To see her as a fabulous mother and homemaker is a pleasant surprise.”

Since the two have been friends for a while now, do they discuss their comeback into films? Raveena says, “A friend had mentioned that he was making a film and wanted to sign her, but he wasn’t sure if she was doing films back then. So when I met her recently, I asked her to consider it. She is doing that film now. But I don’t want get into its details.”
