Shah Rukh Khan took daughter Suhana out for a relaxed dinner date in Mumbai. The actor got mobbed by fans and sportingly posed for selfies.

Even as Gauri Khan and son Aryan are spending quality time together in London, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan decided to take daughter Suhana out for dinner in Mumbai. Given the star that he is, the simple dinner date soon turned into a fan fest with people thronging the restaurant to have a glimpse of SRK and his daughter.

The actor -- who has taken six days off work to be with his daughter -- stopped to have a few words with some of his little fans and also posed for selfies.

Suhana celebrated her 16th birthday on May 22, and has been in Mumbai for a while.

Talking about Suhana and Aryan, SRK said in a recent interview, “They are studying abroad, I miss them a lot but it gives me an opportunity to take some time off otherwise I am so embroiled in work. I have taken six day off to spend time with Suhana as she is here. The age of 16-18 somehow makes the kids want to stick to the parents even more when they get this five-six days break.”

The actor, like any other parent, still treats them like toddlers. “It’s really nice, it’s quality time. It’s quite amazing the conversations I have with them. I still treat them like they are two or three-year-old, but they are adults,” he added.

When asked if they like to be treated as ‘kids’, the actor quipped, “No, but they have a lot of respect for me.”
