Producer Nikhil Namit has shared pictures of Salman Khan’s swanky vanity van on the Malta sets of his upcoming film, Bharat. Namit took to Instagram to share the pictures. Salman Khan’s Bharat recently completed its first shooting schedule in Mumbai, after which the crew arrived in Malta to commence filming the second schedule.
The two pictures of the van show the exterior and interior - which is plush with comfy couches, a kitchen counter and an en suite bathroom. You can check out the pictures below.
Salman will be joined in Bharat by actors Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi. Salman on Independence Day shared a title teaser of the film on his social media accounts.
Salman’s leading co-star in the film was initially supposed to be Priyanka Chopra, who dropped out of the project a mere 10 days before she was supposed to begin filming. In fact, it was Namit who described her departure as ‘unprofessional’ even as his star said that he wishes her well for the future.
No official reason was given by Priyanka, but director Ali Abbas Zafar in a double entendre-laden tweet hinted that Priyanka’s impending wedding to boyfriend Nick Jonas might be the reason. Katrina, a frequent collaborator of both Ali and Salman’s, was chosen as her replacement.
Ali also provided the only details we have of Bharat, a drama that will be set across several decades and will feature Salman in five different looks. “The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus like Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks which will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts. This is Salman and Disha’s introduction. He plays a daredevil stunt motorcyclist in the circus while she is a trapeze artiste,” he had told Mumbai Mirror.
