91 cos turn up to Parul group for campus recruitment

A total of 91 companies turned up to Parul Group, which runs more than 15 educational institutes, for campus recruitment with the end of academic year 2009-10, an official said today.

A total of 91 companies turned up to Parul Group, which runs more than 15 educational institutes, for campus recruitment with the end of academic year 2009-10, an official said on Sunday.

The companies included L&T, Essar, Hughes communications India Ltd, Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata Motors, Siemens, Kirloskar Oil Engines, Gulbrandsen Technologies and others who recruited students from various disciplines, Chairman of Parul Arogya Seva Mandal, Jayesh Patel told reporters.

Wipro recruited highest number of 22 engineers, Hughes communications recruited 19, where as the Indian army offered the highest package of Rs 3.84 lakh per annum while Essar group offered annual package of Rs 3.36, Patel said.

Gabriel India Ltd hired 18 students while TML recruited the highest number of 35 technocrats, Patel said.

A total of 405 students were selected from various institutes run by Parul Group in campus interviews this year, Managing trustee of the Parul Arogya Seva Mandal Devanshu Patel said.
