Three killed in car accident on Bathinda-Talwandi Sabo road
The three victims were travelling in a WagonR when it was hit by an unidentified vehicle; vegetable vendors passing by alerted the police about the accident
Three persons died in a road accident near Kotshamir village on the Bathinda-Talwandi Sabo road on Thursday.
Kotshamir police post in-charge Dharamvir Singh said the victims have been identified as Baljinder Singh (50), Sukhdev Singh (60) and Jaskaran Singh (50) of Mehma Sarkari village in Bathinda district.
Victims were returning to their village after paying obeisance at a gurdwara in Talwandi Sabo in the district.

Sadar police station house officer (SHO) Sandeep Singh said the three were travelling in a WagonR when it was hit by an unidentified vehicle late last night. He said efforts are on to identify the vehicle that sped away from the spot after the mishap.
Vegetable vendors passing by early in the morning alerted the police.
In another incident, a motorcycle-borne was killed after he was hit by an unidentified car on Bathinda-Malout road on Wednesday night.
Police sources said the deceased was identified as Sandeep Singh of Killi Nihan Singh Wala in Bathinda.
