Five held from Pune in investment fraud case
Five men linked to an investment fraud syndicate were arrested in Pune by Delhi Police, following complaints of cyber cheating totaling ₹12.22 lakh.
New Delhi: Five men allegedly associated with an investment fraud syndicate were arrested on from Pune in Maharashtra over a period of one week by the cyber police station of southwest district, Delhi Police said on Saturday.

Police identified them as Shridhar Dilip Ingle, 25, Archiryan Goraksh Kamble, 21, Ajij Miran Shaikh, 25, Pranav Jalinder Guldagad, 24, and Vishal Durgadas Bachal, 25.
“The arrests were made following investigation into a cyber cheating, fraud and criminal conspiracy case registered in September last year on the complaint of N Rai, from Arunachal Pradesh, who had been living in Delhi. According to the complaint, he was duped of ₹12,22,670 in the pretext of investment in the stock market. At least 18 more such complaints were lodged against the syndicate on the national cyber crime reporting portal (NCRP),” said deputy commissioner of police (DCP) (southwest) Amit Goel.
Police said that a total of six mobile phones and 35 bank accounts used in the cyber frauds were seized from them.
