This is tossed up, a bit fuller and around off, Dube gets low and looks to smoke it down the ground but ends up slicing it high into the sky. The ball comes down near the mid on region as Tristan Stubbs comes in from long on and keeps hi eyes on the ball before taking a fine catch just inches from the ground. SIX! Just what the doctor ordered for CSK! Fractionally too short and on leg, Shivam Dube clears the front leg, hangs back and swings it wide of deep mid-wicket for a biggie.

Back to over the wicket, bowling it short and wide this time, Shivam Dube makes a bit of room and slaps it away wide of Jake Fraser-McGurk at deep point for just another single.

Stays around the wicket and looks for the yorker on leg stump. Turns out to be a full toss that is just swung away low towards deep square leg for a single.

Around the wicket now to the left-hander and bowls it short and across the off stump, Dube taps it away through backward point and pick up a single.

Goes full now and bowls it around off at almost 141 clicks, Shivam Dube digs it out to covers yet again.

Hard length in the channel, just sitting up for the batter, Shivam Dube punches it down but straight to the cover fielder.

Banged in a bit short nd just around off, Dube hangs back and stays upright before just tapping it down to backward point.

Oh, uppish but safe! Floated up, full and at the stumps, Shankar leans on to drive but the ball holds in the deck and goes off the face of the blade towards the non-striker and out of the bowler's reach.

Vipraj Nigam tosses the ball up just outside the line of leg stump and it is the wrong'un that turns away from the left-hander. Devon Conway leans on, opens the stance and looks to swing across the line but goes against the turn and ends up slicing it high up around covers. Axar Patel there takes a simple catch and CSK are now 41/3!

Oh, right on the boot but there's not much of an appeal. Full and straight at the stumps, another one that swings back in late and Shankar plays all over it. The keeper reckons there's an inside edge and DC don't take the review but replays suggest that was flush on the boot. CSK get away with one here.

Oh, that's missed the off stump by a few inches! This is pitched up in the channel around off and starts to swing back in pretty late. Vijay Shankar looks to drive but is beaten on the inside edge and the ball misses the off stump as well. Good stop from Abishek Porel behind the stumps as well.

OUT! CAUGHT! Helped on its way but straight to the fielder! A quick bumper from Mitchell Starc and this is bowled around leg, attacking the bodyline of the batter. Ruturaj Gaikwad just gets inside the line and tries to angle it away, using the pace but ends up nurdling it flat towards deep backward square leg where Jake Fraser-McGurk takes a safe catch around his head. Starc gets the CSK skipper and Chennai are 20/2!

Fuller one, curving back into the off stump, Ruturaj Gaikwad punches it firmly but straight to the cover fielder.

FOUR! That is some timing! A perfectly good delivery, on a length and in the channel, just darting across, Ruturaj Gaikwad leans halfway across and pushes at it on the up. The ball pierces the gap between mid off and covers and goes through for a boundary.

Hard length around middle and leg, sliding on, Gaikwad nudges it across in front of square on the leg side and picks up a quick single.

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Mukesh Kumar bowls this one back of a length and at 134 clicks around middle and leg. The ball just holds in the deck as Rachin Ravindra looks to flick but ends up running it off the face of the blade and straight back towards the bowler who takes one of the more simpler return catches. A huge wicket early on for Muskesh and DC and CSK are now 14/1 in 1.5 overs.

Back to over the wicket for Rachin and this is banged in short and across the left-hander. Ravindra gets a bit low and lets it through.

On a hard length, sliding it in from around middle and off Conway leans on to tuck but gets it off the pads past square leg for a leg bye.

Around the wicket now, bowled back of a length and around off, Conway jams it down to the right of point where Vipraj Nigam misses the pick-up completely and concedes an additional run.

Short of a length to begin with and this is bowled over leg, Ravindra pulls it down to deep backward square leg for one.

FOUR LEG BYES! Errs in line does Starc and pays the price! Slower one, full and drifted into the pads, Conway misses the flick and the ball brushes the pads, before slipping past the keeper an into the fine leg fence.

Pitches it right up on the off stump, at 144.5 clicks as well, Conway is late on the drive and gets an inside edge onto the pads.

Gets a good hand on it! On the fuller side and straight at the stumps, Conway flicks it away but Mukesh Kumar at square leg dives to his left and saves a couple of runs for his side.

Hard length outside off, Ravindra stands tall and punches it away through the point region for another single.

No harm done! Banged in well short and angled down leg, Devon Conway is taken aback and pulls it off the gloves to short fine leg. Tristan Stubbs with a fumble and that allows the batters to sneak in a single.
