SIX! This is massive. It is a full ball, around leg. Shah picks it up nicely and smokes it over the bowler's head for a biggie.

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Jack Leach with a stunning catch and he records his third wicket. It is tossed up, full and outside off. Shaheen Afridi swings hard at it, but the bat turns a bit, it catches the inner half and flies low to the left of the bowler. Jack Leach makes a full-stretched dive to his left and grabs the ball cleanly with both hands.

DROPPED! 5TH CATCH PUT DOWN BY ENGLAND! The culprit is the English skipper now, Ollie Pope! Although, this was a very tough chance. Should've been taken whatsoever at this level. Aamer Jamal has been dropped twice now. First on 12 and now on 50. Banged into the surface, climbs on the batter as it skids through quickly, Aamer Jamal is late to react on the pull but goes through the shot and slices it over the square leg region. Ollie Pope from the inner ring, backtracks it and slides on to catch. Gets his hands on the ball at the shoulder level but drops it eventually as the ball pops out of his palms. Allows a single. Brydon Carse can be seen with a muted disappointment on his face.

Seeing the batter shuffling across leg side, Carse bangs it short and closer to the body, Aamer Jamal arches and looks to play an uppercut but the ball zips past the outside edge.

FOUR! Pulled away by Jamal! Short by Carse, on middle, Aamer Jamal rises with the bounce and pulls it well over the inner ring and gets a boundary at deep square leg.

OUT! LBW! Leach comes and provides that breakthrough for England they were looking for! Salman Agha has straightaway reviewed it though, but even the umpire's call cannot save him on this one. This is an in-drifter from Leach, the one that straightens up off the deck, pitched full and on middle and leg, Salman Agha leans on the front foot to defend and anticipates the ball to turn and plays for the spin. Instead, it goes straight on and Agha plays all over the line. UltraEdge shows no bat involved and the Ball Tracking comes up with three reds as the ball clips the leg stump on the projection. Pakistan burn a review but more importantly, they have lost a well-set batter in the form of Salman Agha. And the bowling change has worked wonders for England as they now are just a couple of wickets away from a win. Leach breaks the 109-run stand for the 7th wicket.

A high full toss from Leach, Agha skips down and pulls it away through mid-wicket for a brace.

Too full, straightens up a bit, on middle, sliced away to short cover.

Woakes bends his back and digs it into the surface, on the middle, Aamer Jamal rises with the bounce, and slams the pull shot in front of the square. Shoaib Bashir from deep square leg gives it a chase to his left but the ball races through the deep mid-wicket fence.

Ouch, that's nasty! A vicious bumper by Carse on a short length, nipping back in a long back and skids through very quickly. Aamer Jamal has a very little time to react as he takes his eyes off the ball getting on his toes. Takes a blow on the back of his helmet. A mandatory concussion test to follow now. And maybe, also a helmet change for him.

Change in plans by Pope! A short leg and short square leg in place for Carse as he bowls on the leg stump line, Aamer Jamal steers it well along the ground through the square leg region for a couple of runs.

Angling on the pads, a bit fuller in length, Aamer Jamal tilts ahead and wrists it behind the square and along the ground for a single at deep square leg. These two have done extremely well to hold their ends, adding 92 runs together. The lead now has shrunk to 93 runs. Still a long way to go for Pakistan though.

Over the top of off, on a good length, Aamer Jamal dabs it very late off the back and almost chops it to the first slip on the bounce.

Angling on the pads on a hard length, at 136.5 kph, Agha gets on the back foot and glances off his hips it deep backward square leg for an easy single.

Hit-the-deck-hard delivery on middle, Salman Agha opens the body and punches it solidly to the leg side.

Short one, nipping down the leg side, Salman Agha does well on the back foot as he manages to keep it along the ground on the pull shot, wrists it down fine to the left of the wicket-keeper, to deep fine for a couple of runs.

This one comes back in sharply, pitching outside off and jagging back in a long way, Jamal makes a tight leave as the ball flies off the deck to the keeper, Smith.

Another bumper attempted by Carse but this does not get high enough and stays a bit low. Jamal swivels but fails to get any bat on the pull. The keeper, Jamie Smith is quick to move to his left and gets his body behind the ball to make the stop.

DROPPED! The plan was set but Shoaib Bashir shells it! Carse bends his back and digs it in short. Gets a good height on the bumper. He has a couple of more attempts but does not grab it.

FOUR! 'Catch it' is the call but there is no one in the deep! Leach serves it full, on middle, Agha gets down for the sweep but fails to control the shot. Hits it uppishly but it goes through the vacant square leg region for a boundary.

Too harsh to call that a drop but we have seen such catches sticking sometimes! Atkinson bowls it on a short of a length, on off, Jamal flays at the delivery and it goes quickly towards gully where Ollie Pope leaps to his right but cannot get hold of it. The ball brushes his fingertips and rolls away for a single.

Risky leave! Seaming back into the right-hander, on off, on a length, Aamer Jamal makes the leave but his off stump is visible while doing so. Luckily for him, the ball does not come back in enough.

A loud shout for LBW but that looked to be going down leg! Speared into the pads, fuller and quicker, Aamer Jamal plays all around it and wears it on the pads.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Four and out for Shakeel against the left-arm spinner. Jack Leach strikes in his first over. After being hit for a boundary on the previous ball, Leach pushes this one through with the arm, short and around off. Saud Shakeel is quick to rock back on the back foot and shapes up to punch it away. He expects the ball to turn towards him but it keeps straight to catch the outside edge. The keeper, Jamie Smith gets his gloves in the correct position and snaffles it with ease near his left thigh. Saud Shakeel departs on 29 (33) with Pakistan trailing by 185 more runs.

FOUR! Shakeel greets Leach into the attack with a boundary! Leach starts off with a flighted delivery, full and outside off, Shakeel skips down the track and gets to the pitch of the ball. Lofts it over mid off for a boundary.

Down the leg side by Atkinson, on a length, Agha looks to help it away but misses. A good take by the keeper, Jamie Smith low to his left.

Digs it in short does Atkinson, around the left shoulder of the batter, Salman gets inside the line of the ball and lets it go.

Hurls it on a back of a length, on off, Agha hops back and rides the bounce to punch it past backward point for a couple of runs. Agha gets off the mark on the 19th ball.

The umpire has just saved a review here for England, as jokingly mentioned by the on-air commentators.

Over the wickets, a wobbled-seam delivery by Carse, on a touch fuller length, lands right on the crack and jags back in very sharply cutting the right-hander into half. Mohammad Rizwan is cramped up for room and trapped in front, stays rooted in the crease and is clueless to negotiate it. By the time he could bring the bat down in time, the ball zips through his defence and clatters the middle stump. Mohammad Rizwan departs on 10 (19) with a grim look on his face. Pakistan are 59/5 and trail by 208 more runs, and are quite possible staring down an inning defeat here.

The demons have returned to haunt Pakistan in the second innings, but this was an ordinary shot from Saim Ayub especially when they lost Babar on the very previous delivery. Around the wicket charges Brydon Carse, hits the short of a length outside off. Ayub looks to flat bat this over covers but gets nowhere from the sweet spot of the bat and he loses his shape a bit as well. As a result, it goes high in the air over mid off. Ben Duckett turns around from mid off, locks his eyes on the ball, and takes a good sliding catch over his right shoulder. Saim Ayub goes for 25 (35), which seemed like a brain-freeze moment for him. Brydon Carse gets his first wicket and Pakistan are 41/4 now.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! CAUGHT BEHIND! Babar Azam once again exits early, this time in single figures. England are right on top. Gus Atkinson steams in from over the stumps and bowls it on a hard length, it lands somewhere near the crack and nips away a fraction from the batter which is enough to find the edge. Babar Azam weighs on the front foot and goes for a defensive push but he anticipates the ball to come in with the angle but it deviates away. Hence, he plays inside the line of the ball and a faint outside edge is found. Jamie Smith does the rest behind the sticks by taking a regulation catch. Babar Azam's lean patch with the bat continues and Pakistan are teetering at 41/3, trailing by 226 runs.

FOUR! Classic Babar Azam! Just a tinge outside off, jagging back in, on a good length, Babar Azam covers the line and cuts it square through point for a boundary.

Woakes steams in from around the wicket and hurls a length-delivery angling into the batter from outside off, Saim Ayub covers the line and goes for a push but ends up playing over the line and as the replay confirms, it came off Ayub's inside edge onto the pads. It rolls down to deep fine leg for one.

FOUR! Cracked away! Just a little bit of width outside off and Saim Ayub crunches it solidly through backward point for a boundary. Ayub is growing in confidence here.

OUT! BOWLED'EM! OUTFOXED! What a ripper of a delivery to start with from Woakes! England wouldn't have expected a more perfect start than this! Abdullah Shafique and Pakistan are rocked on the very first ball. Chris Woakes charges in from over the stumps with four slips in place, lands it very full on the off stump line, with a bit of shape into the batter, Abdullah Shafique's feet go nowhere and he goes through the shot to play it down the ground, creates a huge gap between the bat and pad and the ball sneaks in between and the off stump goes for a walk! A golden duck for Shafique and England are all pumped up, and why not?
