Faf du Plessis’s sixth Test century was the highlight as South Africa dominated the opening day of the third Test against Australia in Adelaide.

Heading into the match, du Plessis was under severe pressure but he responded in grand style. After opting to bat, South Africa were in trouble but they were rescued by their skipper.
