On the team's batting performance, he praises the amazing start provided by Ben Duckett and Jacob Bethell, adding that Joe Root played his typical role beautifully before the team delivered a strong finish. He concludes that it was a complete batting performance from the group overall. Regarding the decision to bowl Jacob Bethell, he explained that he went off the field for an over to consult with their coach, Brendon McCullum, who suggested giving Bethell a crack, which ultimately worked for them.
