There may not be many batsmen who would have achieved what Asif Ali has in the T20 format. Selected to play for the Wolves for the first time against Multan Tigers, the 19 year old, back then, scored a swashbuckling century, batting at number three after the side lost opener, Mohammad Hafeez on the very first ball of the match. He scored exactly 100 and the knock included nine fours and seven sixes for which he was also awarded the Man of the Match award. A blacksmith by profession, he was also picked up in the Wolves side for the Champions League T20.
