Croospulle emerged as an explosive opening batter through Sri Lanka's competitive school and youth cricket structures. Educated at Maris Stella College, Negombo, he caught the eyes of national selectors early on through consistent run-scoring, earning a spot in Sri Lanka's Under-19 team and participating in international youth fixtures across both red-ball and limited-overs formats.
He made his List A debut for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club in March 2018, followed by his T20 and First-Class debuts shortly after. Demonstrating a knack for rapid starts at the top of the order, Croospulle steadily established himself as a reliable opening force in domestic competitions, eventually moving to represent teams like Colombo Cricket Club and Dambulla in the Major Clubs Limited Over and League Tournaments.
His strokeplay and intent earned him franchise contracts in the Lanka Premier League, where he featured for teams including Dambulla Sixers. Elsewhere, he has played for the New York Strikers in the Abu Dhabi T10 League while also featuring for Durdanto Dhaka in the Bangladesh Premier League.
His strong domestic displays paved the way for higher representative honors with the Sri Lanka A team. Croospulle delivered vital performances against touring sides, including standout centuries during First-Class multi-day fixtures against Bangladesh A and England Lions. He went on to earn his senior T20 International debut for Sri Lanka against New Zealand in April 2023 at Auckland.
In September 2026, Croospulle earned another major national call-up when Sri Lanka Cricket selected him in the men's squad for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. Included in a strong representative squad captained by Sahan Arachchige, his selection underlined his standing as an explosive white-ball opener in Sri Lanka's national depth chart.
