Shrugging off his lingering knee problems, Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds is likely to make a comeback for the Bulls against Victoria in the Ford Ranger Cup final on Sunday, feels coach Trevor Barsby.

Symonds, who sustained the injury while bowling in the Sheffield Shield loss to South Australia, has undergone his counselling sessions and made assessment of his injury in the last three days.

“All the medical staff from Cricket Australia and our medical staff and the surgeon who operated on him (on January 1) say everything is A-OK,” Barsby was quoted as saying by Courier Mail.

Symonds will have to go through a fitness test which will involve a running session on Saturday at the MCG.
