"He's the most destructive batsman and I admire him the most," said Richards. "He's the most fearless batsman I have ever seen," said the West Indian great.

It was the same fearlessness that turned Viv Richards into a terror for bowlers in his heydays. Imran Khan didn't hold back while admitting it.

"While bowling to other batsmen, fast bowlers always looked to attack them, but when it came to bowling to Richards, the thought was always about how to escape the attack," said the former Pakistan World Cup winning skipper.

Imran also recounted how Richards would always be so full of confidence while coming out to bat.

"As a bowler, I always used to look into the eyes of the new batsman for any hint of nervousness. While almost everyone would look a bit concerned, Richards never gave the bowler that impression." he said.

For Imran, however, the best batsman against fast bowling after Richards is compatriot Inzamam-ul-Haq.

"Viv was the most naturally gifted batsman against fast bowlers I have ever seen. But if some ask me who after Viv, I would say Inzamam. He had so much time to play his strokes even against the quickest bowler."
