The DDA housing scheme 2017 is open for registration till August 9. Most of the 12,072 flats in the scheme were surrendered by allottees in the previous housing schemes because they were either too small or the civic facilities provided in the localities were not adequate.

In a written reply to Rajya Sabha in December 2015, the then minister of state (urban development), Babul Supriyo, stated that nearly 8500 people had returned their flats to DDA allotted to them under the scheme in 2014. Many allottees complained that there were no roads around the flats and no provision for water supply or streetlighting.

DDA, however, now assures that the latest scheme was launched only after all those problems were fixed. The authority says the flats are good to move in after the draw of lots, which is likely to take place in October-November 2017.

The form to register in the scheme is available online, and also at DDA’s office in Vikas Sadan and branches of Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Central Bank, HDFC, ICICI, IDBI, Kotak Mahindra, SBI and Yes Bank.

Take a look at the list below to know the size, location and price of the flats on offer.

To apply for a flat, all you need is a self attested photocopy of your PAN card and proof of residence. You do not have to be a resident of Delhi to be eligible.
