The aspirants decided to move court as there is still no clarity on when the admission process will begin. The process has remained stalled since July.

The legal hurdle is the case going on in the HC and Bar Council of India recommending seat reduction. DU has to abide by the BCI recommendations in order to get an affiliation and students are enrolled as advocates.

The aspirants have been sitting on hunger strike outside the Dean’s office at Law Faculty north campus against the delay and seat reduction.
