NEW DELHI: Attacking the AAP government over Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University increasing its fees by 75%, senior Congress leader Mukhesh Sharma on Saturday accused chief minister Arvind Kejriwal of cheating the youth by pushing the agenda of privatisation of education.

GGSIPU, a Delhi-government run university has increased its annual fees by 75% this academic session. Around 5,000 students are enrolled in the 11 University Schools of Studies (USS) in the university.
“Not only the Kejriwal government has cheated the youth, but it is also pushing the agenda of privatisation of education. We demand that the fees hike be rolled back immediately,” Sharma said.
