HT had reported Wednesday that the CAG found that the government had rented out prime land for Rs 100 per year that would fetch Rs 1.63 lakh crore to its private sector partner, Delhi International Airport Ltd (Dial).

Dial is the private operator of Delhi airport in which the GMR Group owns the majority stake.

“We will take appropriate action on the report once it is tabled in Parliament and examined by the public accounts committee,” civil aviation minister Ajit Singh said.
