"At 9:30am, a staff of a shop at the airport complained regarding the theft of an Apple iPhone (4S 64GB,) worth R57,900. The shop is located in the domestic retail area of T3. We immediately started scanning CCTV footages," a senior CISF official said. The footage revealed that at 9:22am, a passenger stole the iPhone from the shop.

"At 9:37am, the same passenger was spotted boarding a Jet airways flight to Jodhpur. His details were collected from the airline and he was identified as Mandeep Bagga. As the flight had already left for Jodhpur, the CISF officers at Jodhpur airport were informed about the matter and photograph of the suspect was sent through e-mail," the officer added.
