The engineering entrances took place from April 24 to 27, the combined engineering and agriculture exam from April 24 to 28, 2017 and the agriculture entrance on April 28. The exams were held in two shifts— from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
As many as 1,98,064 students registered for the exam from engineering stream and 80,735 registered from the agriculture stream. “In the engineering stream, 79.74% of the candidates qualified in the entrance. In the agriculture and pharmacy streams, 55,288 students qualified,” the minister said.
The results were hosted on the official website: sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet and can be viewed from 5 pm. “We will be sending the ranks and marks details to each student on their registered mobile numbers. They can download their rank cards from the official website from May 12,” Rao said.
