Bihar Board 12th Result 2024 Latest updates: BSEB Inter results out

Last year, 13,04,586 students appeared for the Intermediate examination, out of which 10,91,948 candidates passed.

The overall pass percentage was 83.7 per cent.

In stream-wise results, Commerce students had the highest pass rate of 93.95 per cent, followed by Science (83.93 per cent) and Arts (82.74 per cent). It should also be noted that the Arts stream had the highest number of candidates – 6,68,526 – while only 49,155 appeared for the examination in the Commerce stream. As many as 5,86,532 Science candidates took the examination.

Bihar board Intermediate results will be announced through a press conference. In the press conference, the board will share information such as the pass percentage of different streams, number of students, gender-wise results, names of toppers, how to apply for scrutiny, dates and details of the compartment examination, etc.

After the BSEB Inter results are declared, the Bihar board will send marks sheets and certificates to schools. Students who are not happy with their marks will be allowed to apply for scrutiny/verification/re-counting of marks, details of which will be mentioned in the result notification.

In 2023, Bihar board Class 12th results were announced on March 21 for all streams- Science, Commerce and Arts. A total of 13,04,586 students appeared for the Intermediate examination, of whom 10,91,948 passed the examination. The overall pass percentage was 82.74 per cent.

Bihar board 12th Theory exams were held from February 1 to February 12, 2024, across the state. The practical examination for Inter was held from January 10 to January 20, 2024 in the state.

Bihar board 12th result 2024 date has not been shared by BSEB yet. In 2023, Bihar Board Class 12 result was announced on March 21. This year the results are likely to be released before Holi, which means it will be announced in coming 2 to 3 days.

Students will get their marks statements online on the result day which will be considered as provisional marksheet. The hard copies of mark sheets and pass certificates will be sent to schools and students can collect it a few days later. More details will be shared with students in the result press conference.

1. Make sure that your name, roll number, personal details, school address, subject names, etc. have been printed correctly.
2. Calculate the total marks and match them with what is mentioned in the marks sheet.
3. If there is any error, wait for the physical copy of your marks sheet. If the error remains, report it to the board through your school.

The BSEB has warned that some anti-social elements, posing as representatives of the board, are asking board exam candidates for money, claiming that they can increase marks. The board refuted those claims and said no one can make changes to the answer sheets.

The board has requested that such phone calls be reported immediately to the competent authority.

Bihar board 12th results will be announced on biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. If the official website shows error after the announcement of results, students can check their scorecards on the HT portal as well.

Bihar board 12th result 2024 live: Apart from names of toppers, pass percentage and other result data, the BSEB will also announce the process to apply for re-evaluation results, and the tentative schedule of the Compartment examination. Detailed notifications will be released later.

Bihar board Class 12th result 2024: Mohaddesa, the Arts stream topper in Bihar board Inter results last year, got 95 per cent marks. Kumari Pragya stood second with 94 per cent marks, and the third rank holder Saurabh Kumar got 93.8 per cent marks.

Laxmi Kumari was the fourth topper with 93.2 per cent marks.

Two students each got the fifth and sixth ranks:

6th: Kajal Kumari, Asiya Parween (92.8 per cent).

Bihar Board 12th Result Live Updates: In 2023, Ayushi Nandan, the Science stream topper of the Bihar board Intermediate examination, scored 98.4 per cent marks. Himangshu Kumar and Shubham Chaurasiya jointly got the second rank with 94.4 per cent marks.

The third rank holder Aditi Kumari was not far behind. She got 94.2 per cent marks in the examination. Rama Bharti was the fourth topper with 93.8 per cent marks.

Three students – Piyush Kumar, Abhishek Raj, and Tanu Kumari – claimed the fifth rank with 93.6 per cent marks, and the sixth rank holder Ruchika Raj got 93.2 per cent marks.
