This year the PSEB class 8th overall pass percentage stood at 98.01%.

Lovepreet Kaur from Government Girls' Sr secondary school at Budhlada in Mansa district topped the examination with a cent percent marks.

This year a total of 298127 candidates have appeared for the exam out of which 292206 candidates have passed the exam. The overall pass percentage is 98.01 percent. 

Lovepreet Kaur and Gurankit Kaur from Government Girls' Sr secondary school at Budhlada in Mansa district scored 600/600 and Samarpreet kaur from Guru nanak public sr secondary schools, Bastian in Ludhiana scored 598/600 marks. 

This year the pass percentage of Class 8 has dipped compared to last year. 

In 2021: 99.88 percent 

In 2022: 98.25 percent 

In 2023: 98.01 percent

Pass percentage of government schools: 97.88 percent 

Pass percentage of non government schools: 99.12 percent 

Pass percentage of aided schools: 94.44 percent
