The PSEB 8th class result 2023 marksheet can be downloaded from website after the result link is activated and candidates can check the scores. The marksheets will be provisional in nature.

Students who have appeared for PSEB Class 8 exam will have to score 33 percent marks in each subject to qualify the exam. Students who fail to secure an aggregate of 33 percent marks and fail in more than two subjects will have to repeat the class.

Lovepreet, the first topper, and Gurankit Kaur, the second topper, both are from Government Girls' Senior Secondary School at Budhlada in Mansa district. The third topper, Samarpreet Kaur, is from Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School, Bassian Ludhiana.

This year a total of 298127 candidates appeared for the examination of which  292206 passed. The overall passpercent stood at 98.01%.

Pass percentage of Government Schools: 97.88%

Pass percentage of Non-Government Schools: 99.12%

Pass percentage of Aided Schools:  94.44 %

Candidates who have appeared for the exam will be able to check their marks on the official website on April 29, 2023, at 10 am.

This year 141630 girls candidates appeared for the examination of which 139767 passed the exam. The pass percentage of girls stood at 98.68%.

A total of 6 transgender students have appeared for the exam and 6 have passed the exam.
