Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan hug son Arhaan Khan as they see him off at airport; fans call them 'sensible parents'

Malaika Arora was joined by her adorable pet dog as she bid goodbye to her son Arhaan Khan on Wednesday. Also seen with them at Mumbai airport was Arbaaz Khan. Arhaan is studying in the US.

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan were spotted together at Mumbai airport on Wednesday evening. The former couple was there to see off their son Arhaan Khan. While some fans are praising them for co-parenting their son, who is studying at a US university, many could not get over Malaika’s pet dog, who joined her in bidding Arhaan a goodbye.

Malaika was dressed in a casual shirt, a pair of shorts and sneakers, while Arbaaz Khan wore a shirt with beige pants. Arhaan was seen in a black T-shirt, jacket and trousers. Malaika and Arbaaz gave Arhaan a hug as the trio engaged in a conversation. Malaika and Arbaaz married in 1998. After being together for about 18 years, they announced their separation in March 2016. They officially divorced in 2017. Arhaan is their only child. While Malaika is dating actor Arjun Kapoor, Arbaaz is reportedly in a relationship with model-actor Giorgia Andriani.

Commenting on a video, shared by a paparazzo account on Instagram, of Malaika and Arbaaz’s interaction with Arhaan, a fan wrote, “Looks good, even though they are divorced.” Another comment read, “Like a beautiful family, even though they are not together anymore.” A person also wrote, “Sensible parents, unlike egoistic ones.” Another person said both Arbaaz and Malaika looked content; his comment read, “Better happily divorced, than unhappily married.” One person also commented on Malaika’s pet dog Casper, and wrote, “He is the cutest.”

Arhaan left for the US last year. Malaika Arora had shared a photo with him on Instagram and written, “As we both embark on a new and uncharted journey, one filled with nervousness, fear, excitement, distance, new experiences… all I know is that I am super duper proud of you, my Arhaan. This is your time to spread your wings and fly and soar and live all your dreams… miss you already.”
