Actor Shabana Azmi has recalled the time when she was asked to give 'no expression' while she was getting her passport photo clicked. The actor spoke about the incident while reacting to the recent picture shared by her son, actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar. Taking to Instagram, Farhan posted his close up picture. Farhan Akhtar wore a salmon coloured T-shirt and smiled for the camera. He captioned the post, "Too smiley for a passport photo I was told (laughing face emojis)." Reacting to the post, his mother Shabana wrote, "I was asked to have no expression for my passport photo and replied I’m an actress I can’t be expressionless!!!" His wife, model Shibani Dandekar commented, "Could you be any cuter?" Actor Amit Sadh said, "Too cute."

Farhan will be seen making an appearance in Ms Marvel, the first Muslim superhero series from Marvel Studios. According to Deadline, the details of his character have been kept under wraps, even though it is said to be a guest appearance. It will be the first Hollywood project for Farhan.

The 48-year-old actor also shared the news of him joining the cast of Ms Marvel in a post on Twitter. "Grateful that the universe gifts these opportunities to grow, learn and in this case have a ton of fun while doing it. #MsMarvel on @DisneyPlusHS @Marvel #ThisJune" he tweeted.

Ms Marvel, which comes from the blockbuster Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is fronted by newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and Meera Menon have directed the episodes of the series. Bisha K Ali is the head writer on the project.

The cast also includes Aramis Knight, Fawad Khan, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha. Ms Marvel will premiere on June 8 on the streaming service Disney Hotstar, where it will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages.

Meanwhile, Shabana will next be seen in Karan Johar-directed Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
