Hollywood legend Danny Glover to receive Bollywood Award

Hollywood Legend and the star of Dreamgirls and Shooters Danny Glover has been named one of the winners of the ninth annual Bollywood Awards, which would be held on May 26 here.
Grover would be honoured with the prestigious International award for his outstanding contribution to global cinema. One of the most talented actors in the Hollywood, Glover has confirmed his participation in the award ceremonies.
The actor, who earned an Emmy nomination for his performance in the title role of the HBO movie Mandela, has been a commanding presence on screen, stage and television for more than 25 years.
As an actor, his film credits range from the Blockbuster Lethal Weapon franchise to smaller independent features, some of which he also produced.
"It is truly an honour and a matter of great pride that Danny Glover will receive this revered award which he so very richly deserves. He has promoted various meaningful causes for the betterment of mankind," Kamal Dandona, organiser and the chairman of the Bollywood Group, said.
"We are delighted that he will now be conferred with of one of our celebrated honours," he added.
According to Dandona many celebrities from India and Pakistan will perform this year's magnum opus including - Bipasha Basu, Arjun Rampal, Vivek Oberoi, Urmilla Matondkar, Soha Ali Khan, Neha Dhupia, Kangana Ranaut, Mona Singh, Raghav, Shahida Mini, Ricki Ramdehal and Waris Beg.
While the other stars confirmed to attend are Mira Nair, Anupam Kher, Kirron Kher, Upen Patel, Raj Kumar Hirani and Anuj Saxena.
