Actor Kangna Ranaut is back from an action-packed visit to Paris, and she has been on a high ever since, as she got to meet Hollywood beauty, Nicole Kidman.

“Nicole is a lovely, warm person. It was an honour to share this platform with her,” says the actor who met Kidman at an event hosted by the Italian Counsel General. “Films in India are making a huge impact internationally, and that’s definitely being recognised. Everyone knows Bollywood today, all over the world. Given that our film industry is also linked to fashion in our country, that extension internationally is also natural,” she adds.

The 25-year-old had dinner with Kidman and other personalities, including musician Mick Jagger’s daughter Jade Jagger, at French Restaurant Lapérous, to celebrate the launch of Tod’s signature collection of handbags. “It was really lovely. Paris is my all time favourite city and I always shop there. I bought lots of stuff this time as well, clothes, accessories, so much..,” says Kangna.

So how many clothes and pairs of shoes does the actor own? “I don’t count, but in my new house, I had to dedicate a full room to my clothes and shoes,” she adds, revealing that her biggest indulgence in fashion are the huge solitaires she bought after she won the National Award. Her fashion icons include pop divas Rihanna, Victoria Beckham and Lady Gaga.
