Sherlyn Chopra slams Rakhi Sawant, supports her husband Adil: 'Don't know how he landed in this mess but...'

Amid Rakhi Sawant's ongoing spat with husband Adil Khan Durrani, Sherlyn Chopra shares her views on the matter. The actor sided with Adil, and recalled telling him he looked like a sorted person after meeting him.

Rakhi Sawant and her husband Adil Khan Durrani's marriage has been making headlines in recent days. After Rakhi accused her husband of domestic violence and also alleged that he was having an extramarital affair, Sherlyn Chopra weighed in on the matter and sided with Adil. Sherlyn had file a police complaint alleging defamation and sexual harassment against Rakhi last year, who was recently questioned by police in connection with the case. Amid the ongoing Rakhi-Adil spat, Sherlyn has commented on the matter, accusing the two of doing everything they can to stay in limelight.

In a video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram on Thursday, Sherlyn Chopra shared her views on the ongoing fight between Rakhi Sawant and her husband Adil Khan Durrani. The actor said, “Mai kya bolu inn dono ke baare mein. Lekin itna mai keh sakti hu Adil ke sath kuch samay bitake – police station main – ki woh banda joh hai shulja hua hai. Pata nahi kaise woh yeh pure jhamale mein fas gaya. But jitni dher maine usse baat ki aaise laga ki woh shulja hua banda hai (I am no one to say anything about Rakhi and Adil's matter, but from what I have learnt about Adil after spending time with him at a police station, he seems like a sorted person, but don't know how he landed in this whole mess).”

Sherlyn continued, “Aur maine boli bhi usko uske muh pe, tum toh suljhe hua lagte ho toh kaha aagaye tum? Kaise fas gaya yeh pure chakkar mein? Aur surkhiyo mein aane ke liye yeh zaroori nahi ki yeh log aapas mein khitpit kare ya apne rishtey ka mazak banaye (I even told Adil he looks sorted so what was he doing with her? I feel they should not do such things just to stay in the limelight).” She further said, “Mai kya bolu? Maine toh unke pati ko apne bhai mana hai. Bhai ke baare mein iss tarah ke baate sunn kar aacha bilkul nahi lag raha. Mai bus chahungi ki joh kuch bhi hai inn dono ke beech mai, yeh khitpit jald se jald khatam ho jaye. Aur sach mein agar unke pati aise kuch kar rahe ho toh woh apne galti maan le aur agar nahi kar rahe hai toh bataye ki yeh galat femi ki wajeh kon hai aur yeh galat femi kaise paida hui (What else can I say about Adil, whom I consider my brother. I wish they resolve the matter soon, and if he is wrong he should accept his mistake. If he is not wrong and there is some misunderstanding than he should also clarify that)."

Rakhi Sawant had recently said that Adil Khan Durrani asked her to 'patch up' with him after he was detained by Mumbai Police. Speaking to the media, Rakhi's brother Rakesh Sawant had also alleged that his brother-in-law beat up his sister the day their mother Jaya died.
